Privacy Policy

Arven respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when businesses connect their professional Instagram accounts and use Arven's direct-message automation features.

Information We Collect

When you authorize Arven through Meta's official Instagram Login flow, we may receive your Instagram professional account ID, username, public account name, profile picture URL, OAuth access token, incoming message events required to run your automation rules, and delivery status information.

Arven never asks for, receives, or stores your Instagram or Facebook password.

How We Use Information

We use this information only to connect your Instagram account, receive authorized webhook events from Meta, match incoming messages against automation rules you create, send your configured replies through the official Instagram API, prevent duplicate processing, and maintain operational and security logs.

OAuth Tokens and Account Access

Access tokens are obtained only after you grant permission through Meta's official authorization screen. Tokens are stored on controlled server infrastructure and are used solely to provide the features you requested. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting Instagram in Arven or through Instagram's Apps and Websites settings.

Data Sharing

Arven does not sell personal information or use Instagram data for third-party advertising. Information is processed with Meta Platforms and essential infrastructure providers only to the extent required to operate and secure the service, or when disclosure is required by law.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use HTTPS for public communications and restrict access to stored credentials and operational data.

Your Choices and Rights

You can pause automated replies, disable or delete individual rules, disconnect your Instagram account, revoke Arven's authorization through Instagram, or request deletion of your associated data.

Data Deletion

Instructions for disconnecting your account and requesting deletion are available on our User Data Deletion page.

Children's Privacy

Arven is a business service and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our service, Meta Platform requirements, or applicable law. The latest revision date will always appear at the top of this page.
